Regional Assistance Leads help citizens with large or complex projects which need multiple environmental permits. We work with you to identify required permits, refer you to agency contacts, and create a road map for your specific permit process.
As neutral facilitators between applicants and agencies, our goal is to make sure you have the information you need to be successful. If your project encounters roadblocks or bottlenecks we can help get it back on track.
The state is divided into four regions, with Regional Assistant Leads for each region. Our Information Center can connect you with the lead for your region.
Examples of how we help citizens, businesses, and regulatory agencies
Coordinate project proponents and local, state and federal agencies to build projects like glass plants, biotech firms, mining businesses, pipelines, prisons, housing developments, and alternative energy projects.
Help agencies and nonprofit organizations develop collaborative approaches to solving environmental issues.
Work with rural communities to address development issues by connecting local government with state and federal regulators.
